sweet child of God raise your sleeping eyes,
hear my holy spirit urging you to rise
and begin the day with my son by your side.
come to me in your place of worship.
you'll find peace inside the chaos of your mind.
my promises are uncompromised for you to receive your blessings just drop your guard.
all will be clear when you surrender to my love.

walk into my arms sweet child of mine.
the sins repented through your sorrowful tears.
let the fear go.

you are not unworthy to ascend to the heavenly gates.
intelligence and science are of the tactile world.
there's no place in faith for statistics and facts.
only love can lead you through all the temptations.

Real

as i listen to the crickets' chirp, my enquiring mind wants to know more about you.
i am debating having all 7 of your sacred names inked into my flesh.
i want have you with me all the time.
the scriptures say you already are, but there's no pain, so it doesn't feel real!

as i watch the dog sleep at my feet, my heart is yearning to be closer to you.
you know my every thought, but i don't know that much about you.
i am ready to jump in with both feet and give you all i have.
i want to dedicate all of me to you.
there are so many places and faces claiming they are able to help me,
but there's no beacon beckoning me, so it doesn't look real!

as i sit in front of the computer checking in on work, my soul battles against logic for control.
i'm not worried, i know your truth will set me free.
scientist keep searching for the God particle to explain what they can't see.
every discovery they make brings us closer to our own extinction.
faith is required for your love, not mathmatical proof.
their numbers aren't adding up, none of it makes sense, so it doesn't sound real!

as i get down on my knees to pray, my whole being becomes in sync with you.
a calm settles over me. a feeling of contentment spreads through me.
i sense a presence holding me. i am comforted.
i can't explain it. i can barely find these words to describe it.
the world melts away and time stops.
i know you are with me, but just long enough, so you become real!

Exorcise Ignorance

i would burn a clown down on a cross.
some think i've lost my religon,
but i believe God's love isn't in a temple.
The law's of men super imposed on God
is an attempt to steal authority from God.
Integrity is up to each of us.
we have to have the courage to embrace God in our own houses.

I've fallen down because gravity exists.
Science isn't a myth.
we have to exorcise the evil of ignorance.
heaven is full of joy and laughter.
when dusk comes and the stars appear
it's like God's assurance he his near.
We are alive now so we must live.
Abandon the museum of archaic thoughts.
Light the world up with your own fireworks.

i'm not going to fret over fictitious count downs
or grovel to a fellow human to forgive my mistakes.
i will crash into the Holy Ghost
and talk to Jesus like he is my best friend.
I am not separate from God,
he is in my heart and I am in his.
